You’re looking at at least 100 applicants for every position, particularly the middle-ranking positions I’m going for. The job-seeking system isn’t really set up for graduates. The jobs they point me towards – and I have to apply for them – often aren’t particularly suitable. I’m in a much better position than many other people because I’ve been able to move back home. It’s a bit weird. I haven’t lived here since 2005 and all my friends have moved away.
