My son stays with me four days a week, yet because I am not in receipt of the Child Benefit, my son’s room is considered extra to my needs and it is deemed that he is not living there. The system does not recognise me as a parent. I now stand to lose £15 per week from my £103 per week Incapacity Benefit.”
